The Discovery Institute’s Center for Science and Culture has just published an in-depth article on The Scientific Status of Intelligent Design. This is not a schlockly ‘puff’ piece. It is well researched and tackles this question with academic rigor. It is well worth the read.
Here is a quote from the conclusion of this article: “At the very least it seems we can conclude that we have not yet encountered any good in principle reason to exclude design from science. Design seems to be just as scientific (or unscientific) as its naturalistic competitors when judged according to the methodological criteria examined above.”
Followers of the Flying Spaghetti Monster may want to take a Pepcid prior to reading this article especially if they suffer from 'intellectual intolerance'.
