I think if we allegorize the picture we will see that those are the "Lions of the tribe of Judah" coming out to lend a helping paw to the victorious and prosperous Christians with faith in God's plan for abundance and joy.

I was wondering which lion Chris identified with... the one that leads the charge to do some "biting and devouring of the Christians" or maybe the one that hangs back and "bites and devours" from behind when the Christian's guards are down...
