Well, that is funny but the emergant church can't keep all of its members about a 100 of the emergants in Orange County have become members of Antochian Orthodox Churches. How, did I know this I was studying the Orthodox Church and one in Costa Mesa and another in San Juan Cap pick up along with some others about a 100 from the emergant movement during the past 5 years. Many of them also came from Evangelical backgrounds before trying the emergant movement, and then eastern orthodoxy.

For Cynthia, If you are interested in researching Eastern Orthodoxy from a Biblical perspective (including believers who live in countries where it proliferates), please visit http://www.bereanbeacon.org/eastern_orthodoxy.php . (There is also a page on emergent parallels with Rome - former Catholic priest Richard Bennett runs the site.)
My apologies in advance to Chris for "advertising" another website, but Western evangelicals are often misinformed about the true nature of Orthodoxy apart from a Biblical perspective. Biblical perspectives on Orthodoxy in English are quite rare.
Humorous but sad picture on emergent. May the Lord save people and preserve His believers from such abysmal heresy.
Regards,
SPQR
